· Container Loading Supervision(CLS)
Container Loading Supervision (CLS) is a critical step for importers to ensure the correct goods are delivered as ordered. Prior to loading, the inspector conducts a visual inspection to verify the product identity, quantity accuracy, and packaging integrity of the goods. The container’s condition is also inspected, with the container number and seal number formally documented in the CLS report.
Goods are loaded under the inspector’s supervision, following the customer’s specific requirements (if applicable). The inspector witnesses the container door being closed and sealed. Comprehensive photos of the packaging process and product overviews will be captured for the report.
Typically, Enuoda’s CLS inspection report includes the following sections:
- Merchandise details for goods loaded into each container: Item number, lot quantity, pallet quantity, and carton quantity
- Condition of each container
- Container number and seal number
- Loading time
- Defects, remarks, and observations noted during loading supervision
A draft report is provided to the factory immediately upon completion of the CLS inspection. Enuoda guarantees the official report will be delivered to the customer within 24 hours.
